please do try EVH Phase 90. Has a switch to go between the MXR handwired to the regular Phase 90. In comparison with Analogman, EVH did well and it's cheaper I guess. Sells at Swee Lee for abt $170.

Thanks for the recommendation guys, read some pretty swell (no pun) stuff about the EVH previously and will try them out, but still would like to look for the above, especially the VL PP2+.
