Currently only 2 places selling maple-hoops, Yamaha and Excel(Ranking& Theme).
Yamaha's selling their maple-hoops(top&bottom) for 14" snare at abt $395 a pair.
Excel's selling DW-PDP maple-hoops(top&bottom) for 14" snare at abt $220 a pair.

An alternative is to purchase from Precsion Drums directly. I am ordering 2 bass drum wooden hoops, claws and tension rods from them. The hoops cost me USD48 a pair.

It might be cheaper.

Depending on the width and whether you want any groove, it is between USD27 to USD50 each. Hoops are made of maple.

You may visit their website for more info:

If you are buying from them, sign up Vpost with SingPost to reduce the shipping cost. If not, Precision Drums will charge you as much as USD65 for shipping cost, depending on what you purchase from them.

I think Kanzer is looking for the Yamaha-style rims, not Ayotte-style hoops.
The 13" at Precision Drums goes for US$70 each.

Yamaha ones are US$129.99 (S$207) for a pair of 13"/6lugs on Musician's Friend

The cheapest I've seen online are Gibraltar ones..

However, since Kanzer's looking for 13"/8lugs, only choice might be to custom from Precision Drums, cos Gibraltar only does 13"/6lugs.

The list of dealers given on the Gibraltar website:

Besides the usual suspects, funny to see Yamaha on the list.
