Hi Softies,
My name Is Mykael and Mykee is what they called me, I'm from Indonesia. Basically, I was Born in Manado (North Celebes) but i Stay in Bandung (West Java) and Recently I Stay In Sorong (West Papua). I'm a singer/songwriter & guitar player. I compose my own music and wrote my original song but sometimes i do cover song on several songs that really caught my musical attention. I love writing music, composing and arranging my original music and recorded them as my original works. Let's just say, I'm making original demo and perform them in some live occasion.
Long and short story, I've been in musical scene for local and regional for almost 15 years and still counting. I didn't realize that it's been quite sometimes for me. I do a lot of gig in the past, it is good experiences having travel from place to place like Singapore to perform live on several big stage with some great musician around the globe and also, I already had two album release in the past and distributed by some local major label with two different band, as a Guitar Player as well as The Music Producer for both band. It's been a quite band experiences and journeys for me. And, since I do lot of session playing with some band in the past, that's makes me really had a wide abroad perspective of genre since mostly i played rock music, but having another experience playing in differents style than my inner music interest, it is challenging actually but that's the beauty of music, I think.
I listen to many kind of music and not limit myself to some exclusive tunes, style or genre, so that's pretty much gave some musical influence to my music making process and my musical vocabularies. Great musician like, Phil Keaggy, Phil Collins, Jimi Hendrix, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Eddie Van Halen, Michael W. Smith, Sting, Mr. Big just a new of few and many of some great jazz, blues, rock and gospel musician/singer is affecting me in such ways of shaping my musical taste both electrical and acoustical sense.
I started my Audio Engineering life about 7 or 8 years ago. I just have it inside of me, It is my inner music passion I guess, of how I loved a good sounding music. Until then, as much as I, myself, a self-taught guitar player, I started to learn the audio engineering by my own. These days I'm into music production world. I work more on the studio project for producing and recording. I learn so much about audio and work as a local audio engineer and recording engineer with Pro tools environment. I do some live engineer, sound system specialist and acoustic room design, I make a living from there and hope one day, i will build my own standard recording studio. Basically, Pro Tools is my domain but i am able to work on any major DAW, but needs a little time to getting used to it.
So, hopefully you are all enjoy my original music and song that I wrote & produce. They're still in demo quality so, I hope you all can bear with the quality.
