Not much criterias, as long as you can play your instruments and familiar with SP's music.

How many pumpkins do you need? "Siamese Dream" was done with only 2:
Billy Corgan: Vocals, Lead Guitars, Rhythm Guitars, Bass.
Jimmy Chamberlain: Drums.

James Iha – guitar, vocals
D'arcy Wretzky – bass guitar, vocals
Mike Mills – piano on "Soma"
Eric Remschneider – string arrangements and cello on "Disarm" and "Luna"
David Ragsdale – string arrangements and violin on "Disarm" and "Luna"

Right now we have our "Billy Corgan", "Jimmy Chamberlin" and a male version of "D'arcy".

We had a session recently of their more well known tracks like Ava Adore, Stand Inside your Love, Bullet with Butterfly Wings, Tear and That's The Way My Love Is... and was quite promising, with "James Iha" onboard and a keyboardist would be better.

We may not sound uniquely like Billy, play like Jimmy, have perky ***s like D'arcy or as cool as James... Important thing is we enjoy their music and have a sense of pleasure playing their songs as a band.
