Letting go of my only electric guitar, a heavily modded LTD M-10, to raise funds for my engagement. Urgent sale.
From what I've heard and seen, M-10s now only come in gloss black or gloss white. Mine is matte black.
Mods done to guitar:
- Changed stock ESP pickups to Tesla Plasma 3 - http://www.teslapickups.com/?products=plasma-3
- Changed stock ESP machine heads to Wilkinson - http://www.jhs.co.uk/wilkinsoninfo.html
- Changed stock ESP tune-o-matic bridge to ToneDrive black tune-o-matic bridge
- Changed stock strap buttons to sturdier ones
- Changed stock three-way switch to a better quality one (can't remember brand)
- Installed Orange Drop cap on tone pot - http://guitarpartsresource.com/elect...capsorange.htm
Pickups, machine heads, bridge, three-way switch and Orange Drop cap all bought and professionally installed at SV Guitars - Peninsula.
Extras:
- 2 stickers on body (will remove if it bothers you)
- Inlay stickers (will remove if it bothers you)
- Knobs
Photos:
Pickups - $160
Machine heads - $40
Bridge - $15
Switch - $10
Orange drop - $5
Installation + set-up - $80
The parts + labour charge is already $310.
Previously selling at $350. Now reduced to $250.
If you're an avid Softie who camps at the Classified ads, or you know guitars, you'll realize that $250 for an extensively modded M-10 is darn good deal.
Just for comparison, a friend of mine sold his M-10, which was totally stock, at $200, barely 2 weeks ago. I don't know who that buyer was, but I bet he'd be kicking himself in the rear if he'd come across my M-10 instead, which has $310 worth of upgrades going at only $50 more than what he paid for a fully stock M-10.
And just in case you wanna hear a sample of the guitar after the mods, this is a video that was captured directly onto an iPhone:

Please don't mind the song, lol.
Will include a padded Ibanez gig bag.
