Pushing themselves to develop a sophisticated form of new Jazz, three accomplished musicians originally from Australia but having staked out their own accomplished music careers in Berlin and Singapore, reunited deep in Singapore’s historic district of Rochor in 2010 to create their first studio recording since the release of their debut CD Broken River in 2006.
The result? Falconry: an album by the trio of Timothy O'Dwyer (alto & baritone sax and bass clarinet), Clayton Thomas (double bass) and Darren Moore (drums), containing some of the most inventive, intelligent and rapturous music made anywhere today.
Falconry is officially distributed by Ujikaji Records and hits Singapore stores 30.5.12
