Those vater sticks...

Hey, anybody noticed those vater's at yamaha have been out of stock for the longest of time? particularly the manhattan 7a's...
Anybody got any idea when they're coming in?

I gave up on waiting for the Vater Sticks... Everytime i go to Yamaha its out of stock... When i ask the staff any idea when will the new shipment they always say I dunno.

Anyway you can try Ranking Sports, they do carry a few Vater models

yamaha does the standard models cheaper at 11.79(iirc) if you have a (free) membership card.

Yamaha students get 8% off for the sticks too =D around 11-12 bucks if i didn't recall wrongly since my first pair of sticks were Vater, but I've switched to Zildjian.

You might want to try the drum shop in Peninsula, located on the ground level.

its not Drum Resources. Its the one infront of the Levi's shop.

for sharing purposes, i suppose its my lousy drumming technique(s), but i always seem to break Vater sticks.

its indeed heartbreaking cos its money spent and money re-spent on getting another pair.

the shop i mentioned has a variety of drumsticks.

could be beneficial if one was to try them all out and see which one bonds with their playing style easily.

alternatively, it would be ideal to drop by Nigel's Drum Resources outlet.

im currently using Morgan Rose sticks.
