stainless steel refrets

Know anyone/anyplace in singapore willing to do stainless steel refrets? Most places i know only offer normal refrets.

stainless steel refrets cost more cause it wears off tools very quickly. you might be interested in jescar's evo line of frets. no personal experience with those but read on a review it's quite durable.

you most probably have to custom order it though. not sure if anyone here carries them.

most places can do stainless steel refrets. all you have to do is give the shop a call to ask. most of them who do such refrets would charge more not only because they have to buy a new set of tools but it's also a lovelovelovelovelove to do.

in any case, SS frets does change the tone. think Parker. for better or for worse, personal preference. if you think of changing purely for the sake of retaining your fret life, please reconsider. if you like your guitar's tone as it is, stick to the same material.
