sort-of beginner guitarist in his 40s

2 years + since I started guitar lessons. Lots of practicing since then but always by myself in the closet. Somehwat beyond beginner but not a lot of confidence yet. Musical tastes more eclectic than the skills, but highly motivated to do better. Long time SG resident (white guy).

I want to play with people now. Looking for regular jams. Jams should be serious enough to build pressure to learn something.

Listening to (not necessarily that I can play it!):

Classic rock / blues (Clapton/Cream, SRV, John Lee Hooker, Warren Haynes, Derek Trucks, Stray Cats, Kinks, JJ Cale, Allman Brothers, Beatles...)
Hard Rock ( Black Sabbath, Scorpions, AC/DC...)
Punk Rock (Iggy Pop, Ramones, Lou Reed, Patti Smith...)
Rock (RCHP, Eagles, Bowie...)
Alt rock (Sonic Youth, White Stripes, Cowboy Junkies, Tom Waits ...)
Singer / Songwriter (Cash, Dylan, Neil Young, Nick Cave...)
Current (John Mayer, Daft Punk, ...)
African (Ali Farka Toure, Salif Keita...)
Hawai'ian (Keali'i Reichel...)
Instrumentalists (Jim Campilongo...)

and all sorts of stuff I keep discovering. Not fixated on any particular style but probably won't do well with K-pop or J-pop. Playing mostly electric.

pm me.
