Smooth chord changing

fenderrules, when I'm changing chords, you can hear a milisecond of a stop...that's what I want to erase.

oh okay, maybe i read wrongly

just practice. thats all i can say. mabe. but it'll be over as soon as you know it :)

what do you mean by stop?

if you mean you stopped a while just to move to the next chord, then try strum an open chord as an interval to go to the next chord.
its only for a millisecond, but u dun have to stop strumming.
eg; strum D, let go fingers and strum once (prepare next chord), strum Em

but if thats what you've been doing, then i guess u cant quite do much.

Let's say for Emajor chord. The most obvious one is the one you play at the first fret. But there are many others down the fretboard. Let's say you want to play the progression E, A, B... for beginner can start by playing the A chord at 2nd fret. B chord at 2nd fret to allow faster changing, don't have to move up and down the fretboard so much.

Pier.

lppier, what do you mean by chord shapes too far away from each other?

When switching chords try not to switch fingers that is available for the next chord...eg C to Am...just move your fourth finger only...
