Setting up a double pedal

Sup guys.. What are your double pedal setting?? The position of the beater and other stuff. I cant seems to get it right and due to the rebounce the beater will hit my leg. I am getting blue back on my leg..

I'm using Iron Cobra rolling too. I have the problem of the beaters hitting my right foot in the past.

I adjust the beaters nearer to the bass drum. So the tension won't be so high.

And now, my bruises have recovered!

factory setting 45 degrees from bass drum head for beater... spring tension 3/4 tight.. foot pedal 3/4 high not stepped...

mine's the normal rolling glide not the one with springs:D/..

mine is a carlos double pedal
belt drive spring tention all the way tight, beater is 15cm
away frm the bassdrum..
cant wait to get new pair of elims....... :p

Mine are a pair of elims, out-of-the-box tension, beater distance is... hell, i don't know... I just set it up so that both have the same distance. By not really customizing it, it helps me adapt to other people's pedal settings.

Sorry to be off-topic, but is lucifersatan Kevin Corey himself? Just a little confused here as to who's actually promoting the clinic.

Balance your pedal board and beater without the springs.

Adjust compensate beater height for angle or the other way round until it balances then reattach the springs.

For spring tension, keep it more towards the tighter end to control the rebound more.
