It's good alright! Didn't really get to understand what it could do(it's best or a desirable tone) but it worked to get what I wanted right. Simple but works. Most comments just shun it's plastic knobs that make it look flimsy.

flimsy or not, it's a sadowsky preamp. doesn't get much better than that
