Rickenbacker

I found the bass on youtube, and i instantly felt in love with its distinct sound. Anyone use em?

lol chris wolstenholme's latest bass is the rickenbacker 4003. the closest i was able to find one in singapore was this antique bass collector dude. read: antique

nope he alternated between Jazzes, the Rickenbacker 4003 and his Pedulla Rapture (I think that was there...in Hysteria at least)

no worries

his jazz basses i noticed were mostly active ones, cos they had 4 knobs instead of the passive 3 knob version. but he did use a maple neck jazz with white block markers. that was nice

i don't remember him changing basses between knights and hysteria. but i am absolutely certain he used a red rickie for knights. he used it in the knights video as well. starlight video was a jazz

anyway, how on earth does one find a rickenbacker in sg. maybe someone ought to tempt 3notesabar to buy one. his signature photo is obscene. or does he already have one?

I know of about 4 rickenbackers in singapore.

Ken has one (black)
Andhika from 3-dash-1 has one (also black)
Derryn from Ronin has one (Fireglo)

then there was a blue one somewhere for sale but somebody bought it.
