Lux Interior is dead! Died yesterday. Heart-related stuff. I hope the afterworld suits him. I don't know much about him, but he made some excellent records with the Cramps. If you have to ask, then Google it now.
Recent deaths of Bo Diddley, Stooges' Ron Asheton, the utterly unheralded Jody Reynolds remind me that as Rock and Roll gets longer in the tooth, it's inevitable that its armies will lose more and more of its pioneers and allies, but at least the greats left pretty clear instructions on how to operate.
