Question for active gigging bassists.

Do most venues in Singapore have a pa you could plug into or is it sort of expected that one would bring their own amp?

Most live venues have drums, amps and pa setup.

Is there a particular venue that you are looking at?

No I just wanted to know if it's worthwhile to invest in gear that would be able to cover me for gigs, but if it's the case like you said that most venues would have a pa I could plug into then there wouldn't be a need for me to get big amps myself.

imo no need to get big amps yourself unless you are very particular about your gear... then again most venues have their own gear and no space for you to set up your own amps too...

just a practice amp for your place will do.
