Nympholepsy - Album Launch, 16.10.16 (Sun), The Substation!

Nympholepsy is a Singaporean death metal band formed in 1999. The band comprises Vocalist/Guitarists Naxzgul, Drummer Ib and Bassist Shamshoor. Nympholepsy rose to prominence of Death metal and introduced Nympholeptic song arrangements for the genre at that time with their Debut Demo Beyond Comprehension (2003). The band's raw death metal style uses intense vocals with a Chaotic, fast and complex Drumming and a sophisticated sense of songwriting.
Sessionist/Guitarists Ahmad, member of a local band Virulency at the time, joined Nympholepsy and created a new lineup with the band. The quartet was mainly influenced by death/thrash/grindcore metal bands such as Monstrosity, Suffocation, Death, Vile, Carcass, Morbid Angel, Brutal Truth, Sepultura Etc. The band's first Demo, Beyond Comprehension was released in 2003. After the release and playing numerous live shows, the band went on a hiatus due to unforeseen circumstances. Shamshoor and Ahmad left the band and was replaced by Syabil on Bass. The Band First Self Title Full-Length Debut Album Nympholepsy recorded by Ah-Boy at TNT Music Studios has just been released ..... time for war!!!
Come 16th October 2016, Nympholepsy's self-titled album will be officially launched @ The Substation!
Joining the lineup will be these metal bands and friends both from Singapore and Malaysia!
