Noise from speakers

Guys,

I have this terrible noise coming out of my speakers any where i plug them in the house.. meaning.. even if i am charging my Samsung tablet and watching movie at the same time.. i hear a High frequency buzz coming outof the head phones. this is affecting my recording as well..i have wasted tons of time and even got myself a power filter.. but nothing seems to help.

how do you guys manage such situations when your Electricity is so dirty it makes noise on every single device

turn off that fluorescent light.

what sound card / audio interface are you using? if you're using your usual onboard soundcard like realtek etc. the sound is coming from your harddisk data transfers. unavoidable.

if you're on a laptop, check the connection of your AC adapter. flap it around a little.

if any thing is 2 pinned. unplug it, and turn it around 180degrees might be a grounding thing.

lastly - get a furman power conditioner. may help.
