Why it is expensive.

thats quite a big amount the band has to fork out eh

Hi zax and many others who think that it is expensive. Let me state down the reasons why.

1. The cost of inviting bands to perform and share experience.
2. You get to experience and visit studios in Singapore Polytechnic which is very updated in Singapore. Our studios cost millions of dollars.
3. You get jamming time!
4. We provide lunch and dinner!
5. And if you compare it to outside courses, it is comparatively cheap for what we offer. Just 4 times a week lessons (eg. vocal, piano, guitar), which accounts to 4 hours, cost more than 100 bucks.

Hope you guys understand why now. I have already tried to cost it as low as possible :)

wow!huge amout of money.even asianbeats late registration is just 50bucks =/

This is more like a music camp which lets you learn for 4 days and experience a Talentime on the last day. Asianbeats don't teach you anything, it's just a normal competition. :)

sounds cool. the price is pretty ok.

my question is, who is going to teach?

Well, the "teacher" also teach at Play By Ear music school :)
Faciltators are from Diploma in Music and Audio Technology course. So they are all adept at music!

So other than the "teacher", you have other music people around you to guide you along the way!

Sounds good!. I want to go but I'll be going on holiday with my family :(.

Vera Koh, no discounts for SP students? :D

and there just might be a surprise for all of you who signed up. hahha.

but seriously, this is a good deal!

The registration is per band or per band members? if per band members, it'll be crazy sia. help me clear out on this. Thanks!

i think it means per band member.

which means if your band has 5 person, it would be 550 in total.

cause if one person is 120 bucks.
it would not be logical that a band is 110 dollars.

yes you are right. It is per band member. It is not expensive considering the things offered in the camp :)
