This is the new 2012 Taylor Big Baby.
How is this different from the previous model?
New for the 2012 this year is the new design rosette. They ditch the laser etched rosette and replace it with a black rosette with outer and inner B/W/B purfling lines.
1 inch X brace from the soundhole with two tone bars below the X Brace. The big Baby is fairly stable guitar as I have seen they survived our high humidity weather from 5-10 years...so its good and way much better than the NEW GS Mini which has no tone bars below the X Brace ..so over time the GS Mini top at the bridge area will swelll and in no time the bridge wings will swell and lift.( Expensive to repair) ..
we start off the review with a video ..you can hear how it sounds ...soild spruce top with laminated sepele back sides and a dome curve back for more air cavity to accentuate the bass response.

I remove the soft plastic bridge pins and replace them with the dyed bone pins and the FMI saddle for improved tone ..
