Yeah i agree, a BOSS pedal stock is a decent pedal but if modded by professional modders......it can rival much more expensive pedals and even boutique pedals of similar make/capabilities. I personally own a few modded BOSS pedals and i love them to bits.....and the nicest thing is u get different tone out of the same pedal if they are modded by different modders........eg. DS1 mod by analogman is different from keeley's DS1 mod.

Yeah tats rite....especially the ds1 that is modded with a tube in it...sound tubey...however at the end of the day, the ideal tone still depends on your fingers =)

Yes that is OF COURSE! If u cant play.....no matter how gd ur gear is it will still sound crappy thats the rule lol. But if u r a decent player/gd player, gd gear can make u sound better!!!
