hey all,
does anyone here have experience with Meinl cymbals?
ive been to their website and the sound samples are incredible..
also, quite a few of my fav drummers use the byzance series..
Benny Greb, Wolfgang Haffner, Ralf Gustke etc...
i was particularly interested in the Meinl Byzance Traditional line of cymbals..
i have heard nothing but good things about the rides and crashes..and i myself think they sound really orgasmic
i love how the rides are so crashable and washy..i guess its personal pref cos i know lots of u prefer ping and definition..
for an idea of the sound, check these links out (all from cymbalsonly.com)
