in an effort to help more Singaporean musicians fulfil their jamming dream, we are recruiting Band B.

Songs will be mostly sung by those high vocal range artistes, so this is not for amateur singers.

looking for

A) female vox (with high vocal range, and good pitching especially when hitting high notes)
B) guitarist (some rock background would be good) - our band will only have 1 guitarist
C) drummer - must understand Mando way of expression. less power, more feel
D) any other role, eg flautist, bassist may also apply

No musicians with "Japanese surnames", please Honor your parents, unless you are a real Jap, in which case you are still not qualified under our "Helping Singaporeans motto". We are Mandopop band. here are some tips to get a reply or audition from us:

1. Provide your full name

we are not interested in people who just provide a nick or avatar called "Roland". we want your real surname as well.
also, people who gave a stage jap surname like "noebie suzuki" will be ignored too, unless you can explain your Dad is real Jap by surname Suzuki and your Mom is a Singaporean. Once you are recuited, credits will only reflect your First Name of your choice.

2. Show us your portfolio at point of application

no point claiming how many years of experience you have but you have no portfolio to show. This means you are either unprepared, or have been off the scene for too many years. for vox, just sing plainly into whatsapp and send. very simple. we know how to identify the good pitches by plain singing without minus1. for instrumentalists, just need a youtube video of your drumming, guitar or bass. you dun have to show face if you dun wish to. just the skills will do. you may submit your portfolio after you created them, even if your first application is without it.

3. Be a team player

some applicants start talking at whatsapp stage for a while, then they disappear and come back one week later saying they are still interested... such are selfish behaviour which will not do well in a band setting. if you have princess attitude, it is better to sing in a karaoke app where you can pick your singing partner with all your time. band is some friendship and some commitment more than anything else. we look for people with positive attitude, a bit of humour, and whom we can click with. Then the journey can lasts longer.

In my years of jamming, i would like to take this opportunity to thank all musicians and voxes who have come together to create portfolios of WHITECOMPAZZ. These are memories which i will not forget, and will cherish forever.
