Hi!
I am a female vocalist/acoustic guitarist. I am interested in English, pop/soft rock/pop rock/electronic songs. As I am a beginner, I intend to practise on doing covers first, then move on to originals(main goal).
I am looking for one male vocalist/acousic guitarist/songwriter to duet together, who is in his 20s. Able to commit to weekly sessions. Able to strum guitar and sing at the same time. Able to harmonise in pitch. (For eg. Lucky by Jason Mraz)
Regarding my acoustic guitar skills, I can do strumming and finger picking. Some song examples for my finger picking style are Safe and Sound by Taylor Swift and Hotel California by Eagles.
As for original songs, I am better at creating random tunes but not so creative with lyrics. So I am looking for a duet partner who is good at creating lyrics, that would be a plus!
My final goal would be: After completion of one good original song, we can head down to a recording studio to record it and post the vid on Youtube.
