LED on my pedal doesn't light up

My wampler slostortion has 2 LEDs, a blue one for the main distortion and a red one for the boost circuit. Since yesterday the blue LED no longer lights up, at most it flashes once if I press the footswitch really hard.

I opened it up and used my multimeter to test it, the blue led actually lights up, although the mm displays OL (open diode). For reference the red LED lights up and the mm shows 1.567 V.

Anyone has opinions of what should I do to make the LED work as normal again? or would the LED need to be replaced?

From what you described, the switch is probably faulty. Changing the 3PDT switch may help.

but changing the switch wouldn't stop the LED from being an open diode right?

I'm not sure what you mean by open diode. Which two points did you measure with your multimeter?

Try this: using the current mode, put one point on the led cathode and another point to ground. The LED should light up
