Calling All Bands From Soft
James of Soft had initiated and shall himself chair …. “ Soft Bands Collective” – for Bands who so wish to join this Social Band Group here within Soft Forum.
What Is “ Soft's Bands Collective Singapore“ Basically ?
(1) A Collective of Bands within SOFT Forum ( Hobbyiest or Professional Bands) who would like to get-together (irregardless of their Genre) in a social manner to share their music altogether (Once in a month – to start off here for now).
(2) We will provide the Free-Venue but drinks not free of course ( It can be anywhere) depending on who sponsor the Venue (usually in a Club) for that Particular Month….You just need to bring along your own Guitar, Effects, Cymbals yourself and your band members there ( If you are selected to play on that day).
(3) You Don’t Pay To Play – BUT – (you likewise)Don’t Get Paid To Play … too here – It’ just a TIME for your Band to get Exposure (for Hobbyist Band), to Socialise (You and your Band Members) with the other Musicians here within Softs ( face to face meetup), and together - - - We all learn to appreciate and support each other Music and Company here, and Most Of All – to have a great FUN time altogether under the Umbrella of Soft.

AND – I will registered your Band-Name right here (At This Thread – see below) As A Registered Band & Member of “ Soft’s Bands Collective Singapore“

Where I will consolidate and update – all these Datas / Particulars to James (Owner Of Soft Forum) on a Bi-Weekly Basis.
When Will Be Our Band’s Turn To Play At “ Soft Bands Collective Singapore Gig “ ?
Assumption Made Here :- Assumming there are 80 Bands who join “ Soft Bands Collective Singapore” here initially
Here there is no way, all 80 Bands can play on the same day indefinetely. Time just couldn’t permit that.
What Soft Bands Collective Singapore Committee Will Do Here –
Is that
We will “ Schedule Turns For The Bands To Play “ within the next few months. (rotating the Bands) so that every member bands will have a Chance here to Play.
Depending on what time we will start the Gig on the Day itself - “ Bands must and have to be on time there at the Venue – on it’s Given Slot-Timming “
If we start at 2pm till 12 Midnight – We could have easily accomodate 18 to 20 Bands (each band 30 Minutes Play-Time).
SOFT BANDS COLLECTIVE SINGAPORE PROPOSAL – To All Member’s Bands.
Try to Stay and Support the entire EVENT here and support all other Member’s Band …WHY?
Experience tells us that – When you and your Band supports fellow Member’s Band (when it is their turn to play) – They will in turn support you and your Band when your turn comes…This is SOCIALISING and TRULY SUPPORTING EACH OTHER…and this is the Difference ( a Big Difference compared to - Pay To Play Gigs ).
Initially – in the 1st Meetup, Band Members will stick to their Group ( It is only natural) as they do not know anyone there, but after attending a few Monthly Meetup – The ICE will break ( I promise) - - and you will all be like Buddies cheering and screaming enjoying yourself to your utmost there …..I say this from Experiences.
Communicating at this forum with the Forumers is one-thing, meeting them all face-to-face – is a totally different experiences altogether – it has always been a feel good thing as always
General Observation In Pay To Play Gigs : - Is that – A Band that Pays To Play bring their Supporters along there in the Gig – Wait for their Turn to Play– then – when their turn is Finished …..at most they stay only a little while longer – then They Go Home. After That.
No …No – this is not exactly “ SOCIALISING “ and this is never A Relationship Building kinda thing here - as in achieving Strong Support – Among Bands (especially - between The Different Genre of Music) … this is never “ Soft’s Bands Collective Singapore Core Objective ” here for sure – and we wont wanna see this happens here.
It is supposed to be A Totally Different Experiences Altogether ( It Is A Culture we hope to build here among Members Band) … of inculcating Personal Supporting Relationship here between our Band.
At “ Soft’s Bands Collective Singapore Meetup” – Forgo Whatever EGO ( This is where Attititude Problems stems in) and No Discrimination Of Any Bands, everyone get together, work together – – Be Nice cause this is our Monthly Family Affair here – It’s our Monthly “ Soft’s Bands Collective SIngapore” Meetup, or we are no part of this Collective here.
We definitely hope that - When you and your band have a Gig in the near future –and through associating within “ Soft’s Bands Collective Singapore ” – you will benefit from having Many Supporters Behind Your Band’s back – just As You Will Or Will Support Them…The management of this area rest upon the Bands and its Members itself on the development of this area

Because After Ron Capture and Upload the Compress Copy of Video ( Compress here means Lower Quality Of Course But Easier/Faster Uploading Which Is Required With So Many Bands Here To Put Up Up At YouTube) AND AFTER THIS – Ron Has To DELETE ALL THE VIDEO OFF HIS CAM…..
