Named "the best bass player in the world" by Carlos Santana, and claimed by Geddy Lee of RUSH as "the greatest bass player on the planet", Jeff Berlin is undoubtedly one of the most versatile and dynamic bass player of our time, who has received countless accolades and undisputed recognition from legends of the international music community. Atop-tier session player, Jeff Berlin also has a great passion for teaching, and was instrumental in the development of the Bass Institute of Technology. A "controversial" music educator, Jeff challenged popular teaching and learning methods through his columns for both Guitar Player and Bass Player magazine. To this day, Jeff is still debunking popular teaching methods which continues to promote his reputation as a no-nonsense music instructor.
