J-Obsession is back again for its 4th year running! Thank you always for all your support! We are pleased to announce that we will be holding this event again this year!
In conjunction with One Piece Film Z release, our theme for this year will be:
Are you the next Pirate King?
Be expecting the return of the cosplay competition with fabulous prizes and J-music performed by our local J-Music Bands!

Top 3 One Piece Cosplay winners will each receive a pair of tickets to the movie marathon
Top 2 Nominated bands will each receive a pair of tickets to the movie marathon
Audience also stand a chance to win! 5 pairs of tickets are up for grabs by lucky draw, that is, if you know the password, so prove your worth!

This year we will be having a total of 2 Cosplay Competitions!
One Piece Cosplay Competition [23rd February 2013]
To tie in with the screening of "One Piece Film:Z" in Singapore Cinemas, we will be having a One Piece Cosplay Competition!!!
Come dressed as your favorite One Piece Character and stand a chance to win attractive prizes.
Who will you be?
[One Piece Cosplay Competition Requirements & Information:]
- Only Characters from One Piece allowed
- Show us your best portrayal of the One Piece Character that you are cosplaying as. Be in character & costume, do a catwalk & pose for the cameras!
- Solo & Team entries accepted, however there are no separate prizes
- Be on time for your allocated slot
- The judging criteria for this competition will be on:
-Costume Craftsmanship & Accuracy
-Catwalk & Pose, overall portrayal of character
-Crowd Impact

1st – OLYMPUS PEN E-P3 Single Lens Kit @ $798 + $500 Maki-san voucher
2nd – $450 Forest+Trees voucher + a pair of Platinum Movie Suites tickets worth $76
3rd – $300 SpunkPunkMunk voucher
4th – $200 Chota voucher
5th – $100 Chota voucher

Open Category Cosplay Talent Competition [24th February 2013]
As with previous years competitions, show us your talents while cosplaying as your favorite character. Dazzle the judges with your singing talents or do a skit to stand a chance to win attractive prizes.
[Open Category Cosplay Talent Competition Requirements & Information:]
- Any genre (non explicit & offending in nature)
- Be in character & costume
- Solo & Team entries accepted, however there are no separate prizes
- Max. 5 Minute of freestyle Stage time for each participant to convince the judges (Skit / Singing / Dance/ Voice Acting/ non violent & offending please)
- Be on time for your allocated slot
- The judging criteria for this event will be on:
-Costume Craftsmanship & Accuracy
-Performance
-Crowd Impact
