Is there any" bang for the buck" jazz bass body with precision pickups only basses?

Heloo fellow Softies.....
I'm searching for a cheap but good bass with jazz bass body but with precision pickups only.
I'm planning on replacing the pickups with Seymour Duncan Quarter Pound SPB-3.

And another thing,...
Have you guys seen shops selling Greco Precision bass in Singapore??
I saw one in youtube and the sound is SUPERB!!!Perfect GROWL.

i have two of them.. fender mark hoppus bass (the first edition). next year i'll get the one with the reverse pickups. =) but i'm not sure if they are "bang for buck" basses.

Yeah I'm kinda attracted to the Mark Hoppus bass but the price is !@#$ heh
I saw one at Swee Lee and it was about $1K or $2K!!!!
