Hey everybody
Just dropping a note about my band - we're releasing our debut "A Universe Made of Strings" soon, and playing a ticketed show at the Esplanade on Friday 24 June 2011 at 9.30pm. We're calling it The Amaranthine Voyage, and it will be exactly that - a trip. It's more than an average plug and play show, we promise that this will be an immersive experience and we'll be delivering the songs in a way they've never been played live before. In Each Hand A Cutlass is an instrumental band that you could call post rock, prog rock, post metal, ambient, cinematic soundscapers or whatever you want. It's loud, heavy, emotionally stirring and hopefully, inspiring. Our members consist of alumni from bands like Electrico, Rafe, Livonia, For This Cycle and The Synth Experience.
The album is produced by our guitarist Roland Lim, and the majority of it mixed by Jens Bogren of Opeth and Soilwork fame. Jens is also mastering the album.
