How to swap pups between guitars??

I have two guitars and I wanna swap the pups to try out the sound..
One is Epiphone LP and the other one is also Epiphone LP
Is it possible for me to do by myself!? Is it like pull-plug and play? It seems like the wires go thru the body..
If I bring it to a guitar store.. or any of softies.. approx how much will it cost??
Thanks Thanks

PS. Two humbuckers..

What are the pups are on both your Epiphone LP?.

If it's both stock, I don't think you need to swap them. They won't give much difference in tone.

If it's different pups, I don't think you need to swap them too. They specs are around the same, the wood of the body and fingerboard.

I might be wrong though. :)

Pups

One is Epi LP Standard+ and the other is Epi LP Classic
One is EMG 81 89 the other is Dimarz Pafpro Tonezone
Yeppzz wanna change.. any advice?! Is it easy?

It is not difficult. You just need the right tools and the wiring diagrams which can be easily found in the Net.

it is actually more cheem than u think it is.

if you want to mix active and passive pickups together, sad to say that it is not just merely plugging out a pickup and playing. however, if you would want to swap between passive pickups, just a soldering iron would do the trick but it would turn out quite bad if you are new to soldering.

a shop can do it for you but in my opinion, what for? both guitars have almost the same specs. unless of course one has better tone wood as compared to the other.
