How to adjust the dw3000 double pedal?

Hi! I have problem adjusting my dw3000 pedal smoothly and i just brought it recently . It seems like no matter how i tried to adjust the bass pedal, it seems quite hard for me to step smoothly hence i cannot play my double pedal fast. On the other hand, i went to Yamaha to try out their bass pedal and i found it quite smooth to step with. Can anyone help me to solve this problem by telling me what to do or show me some link on adjusting drum pedal effectively? Thanks and your help will be appreciated!

It may be the spring tension of just the build of the pedal. Different pedals have different feel.

It could be the spring being tenses or not seasoned enough. Play with it more or change the spring totally.

the DW3000 is a heavy pedal on the whole, or like what nightwish_sg mentioned, it may be the build of the pedal as different pedals give different feel. good luck with the adjustment! at any rate, you're going to have stronger leg muscles at the end of the day.

i agree with you that dw3000 is a heavy pedal and i am not used to it.
nah i dont want to have a strong leg muscles, it is disgusting for a girl. haha
