since soft is havin a competiton on heaviest band, how abt listing the heaviest of haaaeeeevaaaeeee maaaaeeeeetuuuul n 'core music we know of? nuthin to do w fast/slow but the power and weight of da RIFF:

*Not exactly a great album, but it's definitely very heavy.
 
Fear Factory - Concrete.

Back when they mixed industrial elements with death metal... Concrete was kind of like a B-sides album, and a lot of the songs seriously sucked... but one thing for sure, it's heavy as hell.

well to be honest part of the reasons i know of the band is cos they are "free to download" cos they got pissed with their label haha. and its an awesome band isnt it :p
