Female-fronted epic doom metal band seeks additional guitarist and keyboard player.
For guitarist, we are looking for someone who can handle both lead and rhythm duties. Able to craft tasteful solos and lock in with the rhythm section. Also, working knowledge of music theory is appreciated - diatonic harmony, modes, scales, tonality etc. Possesses decent gear to play in C# tuning (1.5 steps down on all strings) and the pedal/s to switch between clean and distorted sound.
For keyboard player, we are looking for someone like Tony Martin era Black Sabbath with Geoff Nicholls. Virtuosity not required. Good knowledge of music theory. Supports the overall sound of the band using subtle pad/bell tones, searing orchestra string tones or gritty rock organ tones depending on the song. Someone who plays for the song. Someone who knows when to and when not to play.
