Hi I am a guitar teacher here and is willing to give lessons (acoustic or electric) to people for 30 dollars per hour at your place. Whatever I teach to students entirely depends on what the students are interested in. Hence I do not force students to learn entire songs that they are not interested in like many teachers do. I believe that enjoying playing guitar is the most important aspect of learning guitar.
My lesson includes learning some essential basic knowledge and skills (chords, scales, techniques etc), songs students want to learn and learning the relationship between the two. I don't really care too much about memorising a bunch of scales and chords especially for beginners, but rather I focus more on the principles so that the students will be able to apply it later on. It will come naturally later on anyways :0
