goneMUNE is a new Singaporean dark alternative pop singer-songwriter whose music and live performances focus on their trauma recovery and childhood trauma; sharing intimate stories and celebrating how much the human body endures and withstands difficulties mentally and physically.
On the night of 30th of April at *SCAPE’s The Treetop, goneMUNE will be showcasing their newest EP, TULPA:REDUX, which is full of collaborations from people around the world, serving as a tribute to strangers and friends unrelated by blood.
TULPA:REDUX involves ambient, industrial, noise and rock tracks - remixes by people MUNE has never met, from goneMUNE’s EP released last July, TULPA.
Performing their own form of Butoh (contemporary dance originated from Japan) on some tracks, MUNE will also unleash another level of engaging with the audience through atmospheric, glitchy and nostalgic visual projections - new, never before seen footage for the TULPA:REDUX tracks, and even showcasing their new songs and collaborations in the making - shoegaze and altronic pop.
DJ DUCKDELEUZE666, aka Sean Francis Han, will also be DJing after MUNE’s performance! A critical theorist by day and a DJ by night, Sean Francis blends dark and electronic sounds with house-music’s intoxicating energy. Something like George Bataille meets FISHER - a soundscape for the night.
