from EPL to BPL

i think this sums up the commercialism in football today. what was once known as the English Premier League is now known as the BARCLAYS premier league. looks like the home of football have traded the sovereignty of their top league to be associated with a money making corporation. in fact, aren't they only one in europe?

the lesser leagues in England are also officially stamped with a huge "coca cola" on their logos and league names. Plus the carling cup. I guess this with all the increase in tv rights are wat's bringing all the top class players into the premier league.
