This is the closest sound,feel and look of a acoustic upright bass you'll ever get from a portable upright bass....at this price. It's actually lighter than my NS (Ned Steinberger) CR4M electric upright stick bass. The Eminence is a favorite among local jazz bassists, due to its portability,tone,feel and that it still looks like an acoustic bass (yes...the look is more important than the sound in most gigs).
Comes with Realist pickup, tummy bout, gig bag and stand.
Minor crack at neck/heel joint (during shipping) repaired. Stronger than before due to internal bolt reinforcement.
Fully functional. Selling only because a bit over-kill (for a closet bassist) to have two of these.In the heat of the moment,I bought the removable neck version after I got this, in case of an overseas jazz gig......still waiting patiently for the gig
