erm when i plug the ebs multi comp through the amp and mine bass there is static on my comp and bass how to take it away???

too many variables. bass not grounded, amp not grounded, other sources of EMF interfernce. comp also raises base noise level.

the comp will increase whatever noise that is already in your signal. get rid of the noise in your signal, get rid of the noise.

but like what santa said, the noise could be from anywhere. it could also be from patch/instrument cables, dirty power supply, or even fluorescent bulbs or CRT monitors
