Hey,
An intermediate drummer looking to join a band that wants to make good music. Open to all styles of metal.
I am good at some things and terrible at others, so looking to learn more.
For example, I am pretty handy with triplets:
And not too shabby with higher tempos:
But I have a real problem with doing some things that other drummers can easily pull off, very poor limb independence. It takes me a long time to learn songs as well. I'm largely self taught and plan to take some lessons, when it's possible for me. But you know what they say, nothing like playing and learning with others.
Hoping there are some guys out there who would be keen to try to create music rather than ape others. Only looking for bands which have all the required members as I am really sick of having "line up" problems destroy months of work.
