i'm just posting this to get some additional info from people who own this rp-500..

i've used the rp500. its a gr8 multi efx in general; i liked its stompbox mode n its noise gate. u really hv to tweak the values of the gain/effects to get yr desired sound/s. As i find tt the rp500 hv dis 'digitalised' sounds for the distortions, IMO; not like the efx from boss, korg or line 6 (currently using M13), which i had the chance of using also. All in all, if u know how to mix & match the parameters, u'll find it easy to get sounds or at least close to the sounds of yr fav bands. whr u intend to get the rp500 from??? if u hv budget for something better, try the GNX 4 or GT10. it'll save u from tinking to change efx pedals a few years down the road. well jus my 2 cents worth..... cheers

SL webbie priced at $800+..... duhh way overpriced..... but i tink they'll gv 20% discount. Chk out ebenex... got mine from thr; cheaper. cheers

i still havent made my choice yet..

still thinking between a rp500 or a boss gt-6..
maybe i should compare it side by side..lol

$800 for rp500 is crazy!! Even -20% is like $640
Thats for an effect thats priced at US$300 at us internet shops.

In contrast, the m13 is about $680 new.
But its priced at US$500 at us internet shops.

Do try the m13 instead, true bypass, effects stacking, looper etc

bro gt-6 quite old leh, sori if i sound so bland; but get something newer so wont hv hard time looking for online support/patches :mrgreen:

yup2 m13 is cool.... wats more cooler is u can use up to 4 delays at a time... can get a lot of weird, spacey, eerie sounds.... DL MANIA
