Buying guitars in KL...

I thought of buying a takamine acoustic-electric (acoustic guitar with pickup) guitar? Will the price be cheaper or more expensive?

I had enquired one shop called "Mahogany", saying that the price will be around RM600+?

Any opinions? I'm going KL about 2 to 3 weeks time...

Hi.

For KL. maybe you can try Woh Fatt (Located at Jalan Petaling) nearby china town. They did sell second hand Takamine there.

For Mahogany, they might be selling in that price or so.

Yah. That's true. Last wk, went to guitar shop, ask for something or some spec of guitar, kena fked by the shopkeeper!

Yes - the music stores are runned by people who don't know their stuff. Except JS music...you should go there. Kind of like a certain guitar shops that sells very high end guitars in Singapore..... except that although their (Singapore shop) service is hell - their price is reasonable.

Note: I have no affiliation at all with JS music.
