Hey guys!
I’m offering beginner acoustic guitar lessons until end July 2014 (that’s when school starts for me) at a rate of $40/hour (Negotiable).
Here is some information regarding the lessons:
• Free trial lesson (If you decide not to continue)
• Personalised notes will be provided
• Lessons will be tailored to students’ preference for effective learning
This is what I’ll teach:
• Parts of a guitar
• Tab and chord chart interpretation
• Exercises for the left and right hand and for coordination
• Basic skills such as strumming and finger plucking
• Rhythmic skills such as strumming patterns, palm muting and string slapping
• The basic major chords and minor chords (Open chords, Power Chords and Barre chords)
• Songs that YOU want to learn
Here’s a little bit of information about myself:
• Guitar playing experience of 5 years
- Started out in Sec 1, joined the Guitar Ensemble CCA in JC
• Performed to crowds of ~500
- During the Guitar Ensemble’s annual concerts and other events
• Was part of the Guitar Ensemble’s very own rock band
- Vocalist and Rhythm Guitarist
