Bands using E Drum pads

Hey, anybody know of which band in SG uses midi pads or mpc to incorporate sounds, effects or routine solos for their band/acts on live shows?
I've seen keyboardist using midi keyboards running ableton live or propellerhead reason softwares but i've never see someone using hitting the electronic drum pads, midi pads or the akai mpc before.
I would love to drop by if any of the band were to perform with these controllers.

Plus anyone know of an artist that uses looper to perform? I want to try that, wanna see experience local artist perform with it so i can understand better.
