Electric Guitarist available
Won't be able to commit too much due to NS commitments (8 months left) but would be interested in joining or starting a casual group interested in the genres of Contemporary Jazz, Jazz Funk, Jazz Fusion, Acid Jazz, Latin, Bossa Nova etc.
Just for fun but if we get good enough maybe we could progress to gigs.
Honestly, not too confident with my own skills but willing to experiment with other less experienced musicians as well. Been playing guitar for about 6 years already.
Would perhaps require drummer, upright/electric bassist, pianist/keyboardist, vox(or not), Sax(maybe)
Okay with playing instrumentals.
I listen to stuff like Fourplay, Shakatak, Azymuth, Casiopea, T-Square, Dimension, David Sanborn, George Benson, Wes Montgomery, Lee Ritenour, Larry Carlton, Miles Davis, Bill Evans, Lisa Ono.
Would like to do originals as well.
I'm quite a chin-chai person (and slow learner) so if anything else interests you just let me know.
Free on most weekends, no Sunday mornings.
