any one got stainless steel frets?

Had one on my Parker Nitefly which I sold sometime back. Its brighter than nickel. But not by a huge margin. Very smooth to do bends, feels similar to jumbo but in a much nicer way. It also goes through your string faster than nickel frets. Also you will never need to polish your frets. :smt001

I've done a bit of research online... many have talked about how much brighter it sounds, and of that, many say it sounds more brittle. However, I have done an A/B comparison so yeah...

However, I do know that if you ask a reputable lutheir like Malcom to do steel frets, you'll have to pay him extra because he will ruin his tools in the process. ;) Its very hard, so it does last longer BUT the risk of damage to your instrument/tools while refretting is greater. Then you can't just hammer the steel frets in, you got to glue them down ala Parker Flys.
