i have vox ad30vt amp...and i am considering whether to get the dual footswitch or buy a seperate multi efx like zoom g2..any advice?

Why would you need another multi-efx when you already have one built into the amp?

i've got the vfs2 to switch between channels..and its enough for me...

Is it necessary? Does it beat bending to the side to flick a few switches?

I say get a multi-efx. More versatile than the in-built stuff on the amp.

Since you got a built -in effects in your amp, I would suggest get a footswitch to switch between clean & drv ch. Sometimes when u happen to jam with your frens at your home, when you get too 'high', its impossible to tell your frens: "Wait! i gotta switch to drv ch now", in the midst of your jamming.
