Yes it will. but it's not ideal. Good acoustic amp is tailored to respond to the frequencies that the acoustic-electric guitar is emitting.

L lppier New member Dec 13, 2005 #8 Electric guitar amp won't give you the pristine acoustic sound from a acoustic amp but for jamming purposes if you're not too picky it'll do fine. You can also use a keyboard amp instead of an acoustic amp, but of coz acoustic amp is best. Pier.
