Acoustic for $500?

Hi there,

I'd like to know more about what to look at when buying an acoustic guitar
my budget is under $500, I'm currently looking at these models cause they are available at the local shop.
Any recommendations? Or should I look for anything else?

For the sub $500 range, i always thought the Takamine, Sigma and Yamaha's are the best bet. If you can stretch abit more, you can't go wrong with the Taylor's Big Baby in my opinion. Luthermusic will be a great place also to shop at (Alvarez/Lag's) - not too much experience with those so i can't comment, friendly staff and will get you up to speed.
