anyone knows which places are best for repairing acoustic guitars? those which can really do a good job. i have one which is pretty bashed up and possibly fragile so i hope some dudes here can recommend good repair folk, not those who mess things up or charge explicit prices but do crap work...

normally when you learn scales do you learn by box shape in all positions and keys or do you just find the root note in the scale box and then transcribe the box to where its supposed to be? is it very vital to know every single note on the fretboard ?
