Hi guys!

WeekendTRIP is back again this year (and the next!). Good news... WeekendTRIP 07/08 will be held on every 3rd Sat of EACH month starting in Dec 2007 at *scape Youth Park. Thus, expect an onslaught of local music madness coming your way next year! Now at least there's something to look forward to every month :)

The details of the first series of weekendTRIP 07/08 are as follows:

WeekendTRIP 07/08 is co produced by 'Invasion Productions'. For those who are not aware yet, Doubleyellowline has integrated with Invasion Productions. So basically, its all still the same faces but we're just going under a new 'flag' and its all for the better. With this integration, we will be organising even more gigs/events to promote, expose and alleviate the local music scene here! :)

yea.. i was there for the Confession of a Rock Junkie gig, then Razi happened to announce the free redemption thingy, so being a typical Singaporean, i took one (and only one) flyer :lol:

what's the lineup like for the upcoming weeks?
 
haha, it's all good. and not to mention healthy. :) got hundreds of coupons man, so drink up! (eh, why take 1 only? take more flyers lah...)

btw neuro182, since you asked,

the lineup for the upcoming months will be a good mix of old/new/popular.
we like splicing it up with bands hailing from different cliques/scenes, whenever possible since we started back in early 2000ish. it will be great to get everyone shaking hands, making friends and exposing them to 'the other side'. we'll get it done for most of the show days.

more and more of the publicity material will be churned out...all in good time. but we're going to make it a bit different this year, in terms of presentation. plus, we have highlight shows in between all the weekendtrips.

Rock on for the effort that has been put in to provide gigs where everyone can go, chill, make new friends and enjoy gre8 local flavour of music.

ps: you guys wrote in to our weekendtrip myspace right. i'll probly b at the full flight security check this wed to check knightsfall out. heard quite a bit of u guys but haven had a chance to see knightsfall live yet. so im going on wed! heh :D
